Visits to the Ranch

Can you visit the ranch?

Yes! The majority of our visitors come in the summer. Beagle lovers vacationing in Alaska are eager to visit ABR. Naturally, Alaskans are welcome as well. Requests for winter visits can also be accommodated. It's important to take weather conditions into account when making a request. Please dress appropriately.

What steps do you take to arrange a visit?

Please email info@AlaskaBeagleRanch.org with your preferred date (weekends are best) and the time in the afternoon. You will receive a response within 48 hours regarding your request. You are responsible for all transportation.

What can you expect?

Enjoy a delightful visit featuring over 20 beagles or beagle mixes outdoors in the ABR yard. You can stay as long as you wish, though we ask you to limit your visit to under 3 hours. You'll hear stories about ABR, each beagle, and anything else you’re curious about. You'll witness firsthand the care provided to the pups, seeing how joyful and playful they are. Additionally, you'll receive an ABR sticker and all the beagle glitter your clothes can carry. Don’t forget to sign our guestbook while you’re here.

What does it cost?

There is no charge for visiting the ranch. Donations are welcomed. We operate as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All contributions are applied to the care of the pups.
