Are you able to visit the ranch?
Absolutely! Most of our guests arrive during the summer. Beagle, Basset, and Hound enthusiasts vacationing in Alaska look forward to visiting ABR. Of course, Alaskans are also invited. We can arrange for winter visits as well. It's essential to consider weather conditions when submitting a request. Please dress accordingly.
What steps to follow to schedule a visit?
Please send an email to info@AlaskaBeagleRanch.org with your desired date (weekends are preferable) and the time in the afternoon. You will receive a reply within 72 hours regarding your inquiry. All transportation arrangements are your responsibility.
What can you anticipate?
Enjoy a charming visit with more than 20 Beagles, Basset Hounds, beagle mixes and other hounds in the ABR yard. You are welcome to stay for as long as you like, although we kindly request that you limit your visit to less than 3 hours. You will hear stories about ABR, each dog, and anything else you may be curious about. You'll see firsthand the care given to the pups and observe how cheerful and playful they are. Moreover, you'll receive all the Beagle and Basset glitter your attire can hold. Please make sure to sign our guestbook during your visit.
What does it cost?
There is no charge for visiting the ranch. Donations are welcomed. We operate as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All contributions are applied to the care of the pups.
