Fostering for ABR
Once you have completed our foster application and gone through an in-person interview, you are on your path to fostering one of our dogs. There is no set timeline. You're responsible for the day-to-day care of your foster dog. Food and supplements will be provided. Your foster dog will be prepared for adoption after a veterinary wellness check, updating vaccinations, and spaying or neutering, all of which is covered by ABR. You're responsible for transporting the dog to these appointments. After the appointments are completed, you will need to make the dog available for adoption interviews. If you are unable to bring the dog to the ranch for the interview, a volunteer can pick it up to take it to the ranch. The dog will be returned to you afterward, unless it is adopted or other arrangements are made. For right now, this is for Matsu Valley residents only.
